Burna Boy becomes the first African artist to perform live at the 66th Grammys.

Prominent Nigerian artist Burna Boy is set to grace the stage at the 2024 Grammy Awards as one of the featured performers. The Recording Academy unveiled the addition of Luke Combs and Travis Scott to the lineup on Monday, January 22, alongside the celebrated ‘African Giant’ musician. Burna Boy is poised to make history as the inaugural African artist to deliver a live performance at this prestigious event.

Nigerian Afro-fusion sensation Damini Ogulu, who is better known as the performance name Burna Boy He will perform alongside other top performers to perform at the Grammy Awards. Grammys the 4th of February.
The multi-talented musician would have been the only African artist to perform on the arena of Grammys with his stunning performance.

On Monday morning, the Recording Academy revealed the inclusion of the “Last Last” singer in the roster of performers. Joining him on the stage will be renowned American vocalist Luke Combs and hip-hop sensation Travis Scott. They will be joining a lineup that already features Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo, all of whom had been previously announced.

Nigerian Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, along with his mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, has landed in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, amidst the ongoing AFCON (African Cup of Nations).
According to reports, Burna Boy’s arrival in Cote d’Ivoire occurred early on a Saturday, where he was scheduled to perform at the STELL’AIR festival. The festival organizers shared a video on their social media platforms, capturing the warm welcome extended to Burna Boy and his mother upon their arrival in the country.
